....who is Jeff Renaud?

I am a lifelong resident of LaSalle, Ontario.  I grew up in the waterfront district (the old town), attended Colonel Bishop School and St. Andrews Parish.  From there I attended Sandwich Secondary where I was blessed with some of the greatest educators and met my wife of 32 years, Patti.  After attending the University of Western Ontario we chose to come back and make LaSalle our Forever Home.  With a father who was a local councilor I quickly learned about what makes a community tick and the importance of accountability in every decision you make.  I volunteered for many important groups and causes, including the "Colonel Bishop Reunion Committee", the "Strawberry Committee" and my continuing role as "Akela" at the 95th Scout Group of LaSalle.  Bringing people together and bringing out the best in them while building communities has always been my strength.  Patti and I were blessed with two independent and strong sons Brad and Nick who have each found their calling, Brad following Dad's footsteps as a musician and part of the newly formed management team at Costco Wholesale East Windsor.  I too have been chosen to continue (and closeout?) my 35 year career with the new store.  Nick, like his mother who is a Nurse Practitioner at Henry Ford Healthcare, has a love for the science of the human body.  After completing his Masters in Physiotherapy, he works in his hometown at Active Body.  We all lead  active and busy lifestyles...but wouldn't have it any other way.  When I am not connecting with residents or engaging with my family I can be found playing Trumpet and Guitar (or whatever else I can get my hands on), twisting a wrench on my 85 Thunderbird SVT or simply hanging out with the family cats.
